Any hope of removing these fender protector strips?

    Yick. Mine don't looks so bad now.

    I'd recommend trying similar method as used for removing badges: a heat gun, dental floss behind, likely followed by Goo Gone.

    I did mine recently which were in comparable shape. I used a plastic scraper to get the hard plastic of the top and then goo gone / bug remover to remove the adhesive. It will require a lot of patience. Took about 3-4 hours but I was able to remove everything.

    I’ve done this. It does take a lot of patience. Goo gone and turtle wax sticker remover. Also, I did mine in the middle of the summer and let it sit out in the sun all day to help soften them up a little. I’ve heard some using a heat gun, I found for the tough spots to use a hair dryer…doesn’t get as hot as the gun so a bit safer.

    Ya,this week.Bought new oem to put back.
    They do provide protection but need replacement.

    One side done! Hair dryer, plastic scraper, Goo-Gone, some polishing compound, and a quick wax. Took about 1 hour, not counting beer break. It actually went much easier, and came out better, than expected.2024-10-25 14.42.25.jpg

    Body shop called and said they started pulling paint when trying to remove.
    They stopped they said.
    Ill deal with it when I get it back.They painted the roof and hood.

    Removed mine per all above. Nasty mold collectors. GONE!
