A guy that use to post a lot was wanna taco. He had over 9000 posts and posted daily and posted frequently on this 60+. I got to know him because we both grew up in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area and had a lot in common. His last post was June 2023 and nothing since. I know he had recently before his last post been diagnosed with a blood disorder sounded to me like a blood cancer. I sent him a personal message but never heard from him again. There’s been others like that too.

I'm glad I happened upon this site. Yes, I own a Taco, so it was inevitable, I suppose. I keep checking in every day, not sure if I'm looking for something or not, but it's satisfying to see some normality in an otherwise crazy world. Thank you all for tolerating the drivel I post here sometimes. Have a great day!

Good morning all. Heading to Sam's Club then get gas in the Tacoma. Area grocery store has gas and a tie in where money spent on groceries adds up and gives .10 off a gallon which accumulates. On my way home later we're up to $3.20 off per gallon. Will fill up up at .19 per gallon today.

As you can see it’s going to be another lovely day to be outside! I got lazy yesterday and didn’t get my tree limbs cut into firewood lengths. I’ll put that back on my list again for today.
Make this a special day all you old coots!

Giant grocery store in PA. You sign up for a "bonus card" and they scan it when you purchase groceries or even your prescriptions. You get 1 point for every dollar spent and they accumulate and are valid for 60 days on a rotating schedule. Points earned in September expire at the end of October, etc. Every 100 points earned can be redeemed for .10 off a gallon of gas at their pumps. They have new "bonus" offers every week like buy 10 items off this list and get 500 extra points. These can even extend to the gift cards they sell. When putting new floor in my dining room they offered 10x the points per dollar on Lowes gift cards. I bought Lowes gift cards using cash I had put aside for the flooring and got 25 gallons of gas for free.

I got 25 gallons this morning for $4.98

    Afternoon all:

:yay: and :annoyed:, finally had a buck @ less than 20 yds standing in front of me, safety off and it looked like a Y buck, then it moved a few yds. and I saw a small sticker point was on the one antler, but when it stopped it was now behind trees, then it took off. Don't know if it was legal or not, that third point would have needed to be 1", I think it was, but too close to call, so on we go!

Putzed around all day yesterday, didn't feel up to speed all day, so didn't do anything important. Feel better so far today. Hope it holds. Trying to remember what was on the putz list yesterday.. must not have been important enough to write down. I'll ask my better half.. she never forgets anything.. like last week, working on the doorbell.. she says.. "playing with it again"? I said "yeah, but I'm trying to stop."

Beautiful view. I like your back yard.

TY for voting and I hope your arm is nor painful this morning. I had a little soreness after my shot.

Auther has me too. Arthur is not a nice friend.

Good morning. Yesterday was long but it is finished. Not as many voters as Thursday but still a nice turnout. Friday's turnout was just as busy as Thursday at my polling location No one can predict the outcome of this election, but my fellow poll workers and I do agree that there are a lot more persons using canes, walkers, and wheelchairs voting early this election. Making a pot of chili today.
