'Winch' way do we go?

As promised, here is my first question!
The TH is a hybrid, so the battery is under the rear seat. We are looking at installing a winch. We've narrowed the bumper selection down to: Pike Front Bumper | 24- Tacoma | RCI Off Road (rcimetalworks.com). We've watched the video they provide, done tons of research and feel competent enough to install it. We have yet to find a resource explaining and educating on how/where to wire the winch. We were told there is a jump start terminal under the hood so we were wondering if we can wire the winch there in a safe way. The winch we're looking at is: VR EVO 10-S Standard Duty Winch | WARN Industries It's 12V, max amp draw 358. Do we install a separate battery for the winch? Is there an easier way to wire it than having to wire all the way to the battery under the rear seat?
Please, oh brilliant and kind people, educate me! Explain to me like I'm a child. If anyone has ideas, videos, resources we can peruse, I'm all ears!
    MUCH appreciated!

Not entirely sure but I will say this. The amp draw of your winch I think would be too much for the gauge of wire for those remote jump points. Not a 4th gen expert, but current is current. Im guessing you would have to run the proper gauge wire from the battery to the winch like you would if the battery was under the hood.

Before I took delivery of my truck, I thought that jump point was the way to go. As mentioned above, 2 gauge wires are typically used for winching. Then I looked under the fuse box and knew there was going to be significant modification to said box if I forced that route. Modifications that scream to a dealer that your warranty is void should any electrical anomalies occur.

Being our layout is similar to the Tundra hybrid, I followed the cue of this Tundra owner:

    And documented it here:

I have verified that a winch works. I haven't got my front bumper yet as it still being built, so I haven't verified how well it works under load.
