Hello all new here, big issue. So I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4.

Today I went to start it and it won’t start and says “check charging system” my wife said the right side done light was on when we got in. I tried to jump it with a portable and cables nothing happen.
I tried to disconnect the battery for 30 mins in case it’s the antitheft, still nothing.

I was about to walk to Walmart to get a charger for the battery and I said “well what about the key fob start…bam starts up. Now I don’t know what the hell is issue is now. It starts with the key fob but won’t when I get inside and push the Push Start. Just lights up the. Says “check charging system” the anti lock is flashing and the steering wheels locked to hell and back. Really need ideas here, Gona walk to the store for a CR battery rn i appreciate it guys!

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but when you try to start the truck from inside, are you pushing the brake pedal?
