The best part of owning a 4th gen.

 

The first time I put gas in my 2024 I realized I didn't tell the new owner of my 2022 Sport about the Gashole I installed.

 

As a NJ resident this is the first time seeing this feature.

 

17 years with two 2nd Gen ... never had an issue hanging the cap on the door latch like this pic

 

might be a trailhunter thing....
I dont remember seeing that on my 24 sr5...
But maybe im oblivious...

Maybe it was on my truck and I’m just don’t recall or used it. Or maybe I did use it and just don’t remember…

 

Everything that I did to my 17 , gas mod , blacked out emblems tailgate emblem . Came already on the 24

 

No offense to anyone, but why is the gas cap holder a "thing"? 'Can't stop thinkin' you all are easily impressed.

Really? Maybe this is just tongue-in-cheek, and I don't get it.

 

I assume it is now because he can pump his own gas in Oregon.

Why would I want to fight the cord?

My truck has one, can't stand it

 

That fuel door has seen some serious shit.

 

She's got 245,xxx miles on it and still kicking. Ain't had a bath in a while

 

I just let that cap hang free, more natural.

 

I like my 2nd Gen has a hook for the gas cap tether better. On the 4th Gen, you end up putting the inside of the gas cap, into the dirty pocket in the gas door. It is a good way to introduce dirt into the fuel tank. The 2nd Gen keeps the inside of the gas cap away from the dirt, while you fuel.
I don't use the gas cap holder on my 4th Gen because of that.
