I sold my 2012 Yamaha fz1 last month and have been looking for another bike. Found a clean 2017 GSX-R750.

1st mod done today. It came with an HID low beam but still had reg halogen high beam and drl’s. I installed led in the high beam and drl’s.
Super white and bright. Also removed tank warning stickers.

    I love 750s!

I had the Y2K Superman Bike in Blue for 6 months in 2011...then sold and went to a 1982 GS750T.

Made progress today. Picked up a factory rear cowl. Not a cheap eBay one but a real factory one for 60 bucks off Facebook marketplace. They are $350 new.
Cleaned the chain and around the front sprocket. Tank and body work off, wheels off, muffler off. Getting ready for mods.
Bike is super clean inside. Love it.

My favorite bike was my K5 750. Plenty of power to hang with some of the big boys, but not so much that I had to worry about the front coming up when I didn't want it to. My S1000RR was a different story. Very fun bike, but just too fast and too much power for the street.

IMG_4764.jpg Also powder coated the exhaust heat shield. Had a scratch where the first owner set it on the ground.

Took the ECU into 2wheeldynoworks for flashing, took off the lowering link and installed the stock link, installed the stock kickstand, installed quick shifter, removed ais, removed exhaust valve motor and cables, removed O2 sensor, cut off cat from the exhaust, removed rear pegs, installed brake rotors on wheels.

Tank pad/ protection installed. I did my own custom spacing so 4 separate pieces. My ocd was in full effect. I think it turned out good.

Installed front mirror block off signals, did some vinyl wrap on the side tank pieces. Never have done it before. The first one went great but the second one I messed up two times and had to order more vinyl. Will try again tomorrow.
