    Hey everyone
I purchased a new to me 05 tacoma to replace my 99 that was tboned and totaled.
It does have some mods (led head lights) but everything seemed to be working fine for about a month. The tail lights are halogen.
The left turn signal is hyper blinking somewhat intermittently on its own and always with the brake applied.
I replaced the tail light turn signal bulbs which seemed to fix the problem for a day.
I also have swapped the turn signal lights from left to right to see if the light was at fault.
The led head lights are connected correctly according to the manufacturer. I also do not believe they are to blame as they have been working fine and the right side works fine as well.
I thought the trailer hitch was to blame as the splices were full of dirt and corrosion.
i cleaned and removed those connectors for now. I even cut, cleaned and spliced the corroded portion of the left turn signal wire.
I have checked the grounds and they seem clean and tight.
The brake light ground does have a high resistance at 39.1 ohms on both sides.
The left turn signal has a reading of 0.612 ohms
Could the relay be to blame? It seems like it either works or doesn't work from what I understand. I am not sure what else or where else to look at this point.
