Yes. I went from Tundra to Taco and have regretted the decision since about day 3 of ownership. Just way too small for how I use it, simple as that… my wife calls it a “truck-let”. Have a 2022 F150 on a rail car on the way to me now.

Kinda not allowed here as it’s not really a buy sell thread but… to the guys that indicated you might want everything… shoot me a DM with your offered price. I got so many messages when I said I was probably gonna be pulling this I can’t keep them straight. Ordered from Crutchfield and installed early September. Has about 1800 miles on it in terms of usage. Includes all the parts to retain buttons on the steering wheel, USB port, XM antenna, etc. harness is wired up and soldered. Includes XM module. Legit the install time is probably about an hour with how everything is done and I’ll ship with all original docs but leave things plugged in so it’s as simple as pull the stock unit, attach the included plastic bracket, attached the display with 4 screws, and just plug things in.

Yes, there's a "display off" button you can move to the home screen. I just installed the WC6600 this week, that unit is identical to the 7600 sans the adjustable screen.

Excellent write-up! Planning to do this soon. Do you think there's a safe way to remove the XM and HD Radio decals?

Excellent write up, and looks great installed. Will definitely be referencing this after I save up enough to buy one.

Just ordered this head unit and installing this weekend. Called Crutchfeild and they said I wouldn’t have to soldier anything. If I do it’s not a problem at all. Just for clarification what wires did you soldier?

Looking to buy this same headunit soon. Did you have any problems with it or just things that you didn’t like about it?

Old thread, but I'm going to ask anyway. The 7600 is advertised as the same 9" as the 6600. Aside from mounting differences are these more or less the same?

Picked up this head unit and followed the guidance in this thread and some others and it came out pretty nice. I got it hooked up to the factory usb port and ran an Enfig mic up to the factory mic location, so no extraneous cables.

I have a Pro (non-JBL) btw. The install wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and having CarPlay is a game changer.

Thanks for the very helpful thread!

I pulled my DMH-WT7600NEX from my 2018 Tacoma with all wiring harness, brackets, and maestro if anyone is looking for one. Everything came from Crutchfield. Still in warranty had it less than three month. Works great and I loved all the functions and the fit is awesome. Looks like it's made for Tacoma. DM me if your are interested new stereo. I wrecked my Tacoma n

Install looks great! The 7600 looks like it was made to fit the Tacoma best-fit aftermarket I've seen.

    I have a 2019 DCSB OR Manual

Anyone have trouble getting their OEM rear backup camera to show up? I put it in reverse and it only shows a black screen. I made sure the yellow RCA is plugged into the brown female RCA that came with the Pioneer head unit

I followed the yellow RCA cable and it ends at an 8-pin black connector which I'm not sure what it plugs into.

In the second picture is this plug coming from the vehicle harness which I can't figure what it plugs into.

Everything works as expected except the rear view camera.

    Parts used:
    * iDatalink MAESTRO ADS-MRR + HRN-HRR-TO2 T Harness
    * iDatalink MAESTRO PI01 Adapter Harness

I'm having trouble finding info about aux inputs for camera. Does the 7600 support more than one (backup) camera? Truck is going to be full time trail rig starting this summer and it's like to have a front and maybe side cameras under the mirrors.

Just installed a 7600 NEX this weekend and one thing I noticed is the OEM backup camera looks like garbage on the new HU. The backup guidelines are all pixelated Anyone else notice this or do I have something jacked up!?
