We just got this truck back after being apart for 18 years, lol

After driving or letting run for 20-30 minutes and letting it sit for 20-30 minutes, when starting it will fire off and shut down. It sounds as it is starting and just dies off. Then a recrank doesn't reflect it wants to fire off. It takes a few start tries and it seems to require pedaling the gas to get it to finally light off. It then runs just fine. Any ideas what could be going on or what to check?

I just thought, could it be a vapor lock going on in the fuel delivery system?

Recent work done post receiving the truck back:

Timing belt kit (Aisin kit with water pump and tension actuator)

Crank and both cam seals (preventative as it has 195K miles and I was in there)

Crank position sensor (it was causing an RPM issue of not going above 2K RPM)

Thermostat, PCV valve w/grommet, plugs (wires looked great), air filter, fuel filter, Rad cap, all 3 belts and lower radiator hose (upper was new.)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts,
    Mike
