Howdy y’all, I’m interested in getting some rock sliders on my 1st gen but I don’t have a welder and minimal welding experience I’m Washington based and wondering if anyone would be so inclined as to aid in this endeavor I’m happy to throw some money or beers or both your way for the troubles.

I know that you probably don't want to share your exact location, but I will tell you that there are a LOT of folks in Washington state ( @Bertw192 is the first that comes to mind) who may or may not be able to help. Are you Seattle based, or elsewhere in the state? I'm almost certain you'll be able to find someone.

There's a guy in the Oly area that did mine. It was more than I was expecting, but he did a great job. They have come in handy and paid for themselves.

The kit came from XO Fab in Enumclaw.

BTW, welded on sliders are a PITA to prime and paint. ;)

I didn't think it was bad. I primed and painted the sliders without the "legs". Buddy polished off the paint where he welded on the legs, then welded to my frame. Used a piece of cardboard between the slider and the underside of my truck's body and sprayed the leg and the area where the paint had been buffed off, and all around on the frame to cover the weld area. Came out pretty good, but I did get a little overspray around the pinch weld, which I couldn't care less about.

It was a different process with the XO Fab kit. All in pieces. The person sized and welded them and slapped them on as you see.

    All the things!
Do you already have the sliders and just need them welded on? Or do you need everything?
