2025 Tacoma Sport

Does anybody know when the '25 Tacoma's will be available?

 

Probably by 2026

 

LOL, I hope not. I currently have a black '23 and wish I had waited for the 4th gen but I do love it. On my 3rd Tacoma. How do you like your '24?

 

Doubt they will show up on lots before Jan 1. A lot of 2024s just sitting on the lots.

 

Went by the dealership to pick up some things the other day, and they had what looked like around 15 on the lot.

Assuming Sandhill and you are about right. And they show another 30 in build/transits. Beaman out of Nashville shows 98 on the lot with 108 in build/transit. They are the largest dealer in TN. Going to be interesting on the deals if they have to carry 100+ 2024 models into 2025.

 

The owner of Sand Mountain here were I got mine is obsessed with staying on top . And 1 of the salesman told me he has ordered just about every configuration you could think of in all different colors.

 

I got no problem with returning to the days where you could walk on to almost any dealer and find any model in any configuration you wanted and get a good deal.

 

Not sure what dealers have on the lot would have anything to do with when they become available. Dealers around here (Upstate NY) don't seem to have much inventory of '24. I probably won't be buying one right off the lot anyway. Most likely do a "preference". Can't seem to find any red Sport models with the long bed anywhere near me.

So what are they going to do with all the unsold 2024s?

My dealer offered me $4000 plus my “best offer” on the 20 or so he has stuffed away on the back lot when I was just trying to buy wiper blades.

 

I'm in Central/Upstate NY myself. When I started the process for mine in July, the dealers I talked to told me Toyota isn't making many long beds and that if that particular option is important to me, I'd have to be less picky about everything else. I haven't spied a single red one on a lot anywhere around here at all. They're almost all white, black, or silver. I did see one bronze oxide TRD Sport short bed when I first started, though. A friend bought a red SR5 short bed they had on a lot in Buffalo around February, though, so red does exist around here.

Any word on what Toyota has or will be doing differently with the Tacoma transmission? Have they announced exactly what the issue was on the models that were in the TSB?

 

Yes, debris left in that hosed it up. Manufacture issue that should have been resolved around June.

 

Same here... That's what Toyo and the dealers get for not taking orders and greedy market "adjustment" pricing.

 

Yours is gorgeous! I have considered that color along with silver (my '19 was silver, hides the dirt) but I'm very adamant about the long bed AND heated leather.

 

Just ask the experts on here that have the inside information from their salesmen because they are so reliable. Oh wait they were all wrong already. Yeah only the very high ups know when this will be.
