on second thought there are a few parts i need, if you go let me know and i will give you a list and a price cap...

drivers side mirror, the mounting plates for the rear shocks, springs, axle. he has a base model that looks like it has all of those parts.

Start making me some parts lists fella's, at least stuff I can call and check on. Give me a truck type also. 2/4wd, cab size, year, engine size, Base/XRunner/Prerunner, etc, anything else you think might be worth noting.

Gonna go pick up my Covers this morning!!! Be awhile before I get back to ya'll about it though, later tonight most likely.

I repainted my front emblem yesterday. It now matches my wheels. Haven't put it back on yet, hope it looks good. The black emblem got lost in all the other black up front, get that emblem to stick out a little.

Hit 40,000 on her yesterday. Would love to get another 460,000.

not that complicated, i just need the rear suspension plates that the u-bolts attach to that keep the rear shocks, leafs and axle together. once it stops raining i will crawl under and get a pic.

Haha, I see. I Read it wrong. You're just talking about the U-Bolt plates.

Got my cover(s) on this morning. Look pretty good. Good fit also, seats and headrests. Did have one minor issue. You know that little "notch" thats in the middle of the actual seat, the cover didn't want to form around it. Took a toothpick, poked 2 little holes in the bottom of the cover and ran some zipties through them and secured them to some of the other straps that are attached.

At this point, even though I had to poke 2 holes in the bottom, I would buy them again. Mainly just cause I can't justify spending WO kinda money.

Damn, nothing new to read since this morning.

My wifes car appears to be on the fritz, and maybe a big fritz. Once you get between 40-50, the car feel like it wants to hesitate and be kinda jerky.

    I think it's a tranny issue.

Sittin' in "N" and revving the crap outta the engine, sounds good, no stumbling of any kind.

Shitty part is, we are right on the line of the warranty. It had a 5 yr/100K on it, We bought the car right around this time, 5 years ago. Time to do some diggin through papers.

If it's out of warranty, and it's got a trans going bad, I think we really just need to consider another car. That car has been go so far, bit it's a big POS.

well i am in the process of doing, documenting and the writing up a mod that i have yet to see in a regular cab tacoma. the last piece that i need to get a hold of is a heat gun so i can mold some plastic... give me some time but i think i can complete it over the next few weeks.

my water pump started leaking a while back so i took it to the dealer and they told me how much time i had left on my warranty, 2 weeks! that was cutting it way too close. so my point is, the dealer can tell you if you still have a warranty instead of digging through all your paperwork which i absolutely hate doing.

I found it pretty quick, we generally keep decent track of that kind of stuff.

OTOH, it may have been much ado about not much actually. Put some new plugs in it, seems to have smoothed it out. I put some AutoZone crap in about 2 summers ago, went back to a Bosch plug.

The WORST part of all this????.....I was truck-less all day Thursday. :(:(:(:(
