Please get my Tacoma off the lot!

I have recently stepped over the dark side and purchased a new Tundra on Labor Day from Beaman Toyota. Got a good deal and have been so busy, I didn't even take the time to part out (much). That said, the truck has now been sitting on their lot for 6 weeks. it makes me sad. The truck ran EXCELLENT, I would have taken off tomorrow to drive to Alaska in the thing, I felt that confident in it. Forest roads, climbing mountains loaded down, it was literally running perfectly overall.

I had many issues with the truck new, but none serious (truck always started up in the 8 years I owned it, always was reliable). I had the timing cover seal redone, had rear diff replaced under warranty, multiple transmission reflashes to get the latest mapping from Toyota, and various other rattles and whatnot that I either had Toyota address or I did myself. In the end, the truck was a pain the first year and a half or so, then it had 6.5 trouble free years, literally.

If anyone is in Nashville and looking for a solid truck for a decent $, that truck with 140k on the odo has a lot left to go. I planned to literally drive it until the wheels fell off - but with growing family + dog...you know the rest of the story. I'll be back to Tacos one day.

 

"That's high mileage" - probably most people looking at the truck at a dealer.

 

WOAH WAIT A MINUTE. You didn't call out the MESO dome light upgrade.

Any idea why it's missing two headrests on the rear seats?

 

If you buy it we can meet up. I have them, just had them in my garage b/c they were in the way of car seats. I asked to trade the head rests for the bed racks I didn't have the keys to when I was there but never got a response...

added Meso to the list, totally forgot, but I'm not sure how. I wish these were as easy to swap out in the Tundra as they were the Taco.

 

UPDATE: My old truck has been sold. Hopefully you come knocking on TW soon, would love to catch up and answer any questions you may have. Truck has some miles on it, but I only wish I could buy a used vehicle with as many upgrades as you got!
