Although these features should have been made available by Toyota developers and engineers, there is still a way to do it without changing your wiring if you have the 360 camera option on a 3rd gen Tacoma. And you want to be able to use your cameras while driving. Hold down the audio button next to your touch screen display and then flash your headlights four times while holding the button. Not your high beams, just your regular headlights this will bring you into diagnostic mode and with a couple more clicks we'll have it working. You will then click on the function. Check/setting one button on the touch screen display next you will click camera settings. Finally, you will click body color settings and select any color. This will allow you to preview your 360 and your front facing camera while moving and if you have all hands-free stuff in your truck, you can still change the music volume with the buttons on your steering wheel without taking you out of this camera mode. I'm currently unaware of a way to do that with the reverse camera If you have a stick shift you can very carefully put it in neutral while coasting without actually putting it into gear, put it into the reverse slot with the clutch held down until you feel a little bit of resistance while pushing on the resistance without clicking it into gear. It will allow you to view your reverse camera without all that stuff, but I would not recommend it as somebody that's inexperienced or even an experienced person hitting a pothole could kick it into reverse while you're moving forward and ruin your transmission theoretically, if you have the clutch depressed all the way, you can actually click it into reverse without damaging the transmission again. I would not recommend that due to human error in an emergency. It is possible though. Using the diagnostics to view the camera is a great setting. However, just keep in mind that you will not be able to use your reverse camera while in the diagnostic screen as well as anything that you would normally interact with on your touch screen display

360 camera option only came with the TRD pros, as far as I'm aware. I received the OEM "heritage" grill when I got my TRD lift kit, but the front camera isn't connected in any way and I have the anytime camera set up that I enjoy (and flicking a switch is much simpler than what is being suggested here, especially while in motion). Is this supposed to be a work around on the Pros to get the 360 view without going into 4H/4L (I don't have a pro, but I think that's the only time Toyota "allows" you to use the OEM 360 camera functionality).

By the way, there is an option to turn on the 360 cameras when backing up or crawling. Normally it's on the touch screen whenever you engage first gear slowly or you're in reverse
