I have grow lights in the two recessed fixtures above where I sit when working from home. I think it has helped with my mood later in the day. Even my wife noted I don't seem as grumpy in the evening since I installed them.

Good morning PA. Taking my mother to get some bloodwork done this morning. It's always best to go early when you have to fast.

I'm in the process of acquiring a 1960 Allis Chalmers D-17 that my grandpa bought new, and it was used extensively on our farm in Missouri by him and my dad until my dad stopped farming in 1985 and he sold all the tractors, equipment, etc. I spent hours sitting on the fender mounted toolbox as a kid riding with dad, so I can't wait to get my hands on it. One of my cousins bought it before dad had his farm sale and it sat in his shed untouched for years, then he had it professionally restored a few years ago, and it's just sat in his shed collecting dust since then and he knows he'll never do anything with it, so he's selling it to me. I've been bugging him about it since about 1985...lol.

I'm going to be towing the tractor from Missouri to PA on an equipment trailer at some point, but I need to purchase some binder chains and load binders. The tractor weighs around 5K lbs so I'll likely stick with 5/16" Grade 70 chain and would prefer to stick with U.S. product vs. anything made in China. Where do you guys buy your chains and load binders? Most of what I'm finding online and in stores is made in China. Thanks in advance for the info. Pic of the tractor below for reference.

Sounds like fond memories from childhood.

1985 happens to be the year I graduated HS. :)

I buy from Harbor Freight but you are looking for American made. I suggest Granger or U-Line. (Not knowing if product is made in USA)

That is a keeper. Beautiful and has somewhat a sentimental value to your family.

US CARGO CONTROL ? When I was a OTR driver I can say I never took time to look this kind of thing as binders and chains got used up and replaced all the time
