Let's see, so I'm not the only one. Lol. I have a 24 Tacoma TRD Sport with the hood scoop. I noticed the vibration of the hood near the windshield from day one. The truck I test drove initially was a TRD OR, which of course doesn't have the added weight of a fairly decent sized hood scoop on the aluminum hood and it's hood was stable for me at least up to 50 mph. If I had to guess, which is all we're left to do, there's a few factors at play here. Aluminum hood-likely flexes more than steel. Hood scoop-catches wind and also adds some weight to the hood. Crappy roads where I live-always under construction. I'm willing to bet a dollar-all the money I have left after buying a Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Premium Package truck with a now worth its weight in gold extended warranty , that all these variables come together to provide what I'd consider easily noticable vibrations and slight flexing at the center of the hood right in front of the windshield. These vibrations didn't occur in the 24 OR I test drove, nor did they ever occur in my 2013 Prerunner that my son now happily drives. Now, to date I'm perfectly happy with my new Tacoma and as of yet I have no regrets with my "Taquita," but I think they could have placed a small brace right at the center of the hood to remedy this, I'll call it, condition. My cousin's husband has a 3D printer and one of these days I'm going to get him to take a look at it and see if he can come up with a small, but wide enough to prevent dents from the flexing hood, brace of some sort to correct this. It doesn't bother me to the point that I'm stressing over it, but I'd like to get rid of the hood flex if I can do so easily without causing any damage to the hood. I've seen my cousin-in-law come up with some brilliant creations with that printer and I'll bet he can come up with something for this. Hell, might even patent it and sell it to what appears to be a widespread, seemingly well-known issue with at least the new Tacoma TRD Sport models? If we're able to come up with something safe and efficient I'll post about it.

Maybe a length of aluminum angle iron, J B Welded underneath the scoop?

I test drove several 3rd generation Sport and Off-Roads before I bought my 2020 OR without a test drive (it was being transported from another dealer). I immediately noticed the annoying hood flutter/vibration on my test drives when I got over 50mph on the highway. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to live with it. Thankfully, I didn’t have to. The hood on my 2020 is rock steady with zero vibration at all speeds. Got lucky….

Well, if any 4gen guys wants to off-load their sport hood to solve any vibration issues, I take it:D:D

I've noticed it a bit. One particularly windy day on the freeway, it sounded like it was whistling.

If you think the Tacoma hood flutters try driving a 2017 Colorado. Always thought the hood was coming open. All relative

Should have been advertised feature by the dealer " VIBRATING HOOD included". A class action type lawsuit is well overdue here in my opinion.

Why? I agree that it probably shouldn't do it, it doesn't actually cause any trouble. You've got to prove to a court you have some kind of actionable cause. "It bothers me" is a pretty thin argument.
