Hi all, new taco owner (05 double long), long time creeper and first post :) Thanks for all the great info so far!

When I was having a look to see what was making all my rear end noise, which I thought was a broken leaf spring (may yet be), I found some fairly loose u-bolts which were attached to destroyed airbags. One has completely blown and the other is not looking so hot. Same goes for the air lines and fittings.

Clearly someone has had fun with the add-a-leaf on these tired leaf springs, but the knowledge that the brackets and systems are in place for these bags makes me wonder if they can be repaired.

I don't know why I was expecting some kind of onboard air compressor, they hid the fittings inside the gas tank.

Has anyone seen a kit like this before? There's no identifying marks anywhere, and I was hoping to try and discover some rebuild kit or individual parts to price out my options (as compared to the free option of junking them).

I think @dk_crew has it right. THey look like the Air Lift kit.

BUT... based on those pics... how does the rest of your frame look? How bad is the rust? Maybe share some pics of the frame, front suspension, and where your leaf springs attach to the frame (in front of the tire).

Might be fine, just concerning with the rust visible.

I have a seemingly identical kit on my truck, Air Lift kit #59561.

last page of the installation guide has a customer service phone number (800) 248-0892 Where replacement parts can be purchased.
