Oil pressure gauge

    everyone says to clean before inserting but I think what is messing up the reading is all the oil in the dip tube. So if I just park the truck, turn it off, wait 30 minutes and then pull it out, that first read is clean because the excess oil splashing around is back down in the pan. That first pull brings oil up into the tube so even if you clean the stick, once you put it back in it’s all messed up again. I suppose this is the trial and error that seems to have worked for my own experience. I appreciate everyone answering my dumb ass questions though

    Over the years, with the hard to read ones..
    Ive learned, the way its clocked in the tube makes a difference,
    Just need to figure it out, shouldnt be that hard to read consistently.
