i just ordered a few sets of the bottom boxes...

i got the blue kobalt, but then 'accidently' picked up two of the menards performax black boxes, so i ordered a few matching lower boxes to complete my sets. i really don't like lowes... such a pain to deal with such needy/poor service.

i keep some 33+ just about everywhere just for this purpose. i find it sticks better to everything longer than the standard scotch colored tapes. and it looks cooler.

walmart just mic-dropped some new impacts that are really on par with most name brand stuff for less than one name brand battery.

for anyone that needs an impact occasionally and isn't married to any tool system, they're definitely worth a look. the numbers are impressive enough for me, i'm waiting for his review on the high torque, it might be worth getting for basic garage usage..

Just FYI for anybody who picked up a Yukon tool box from HF

Noticed the 5 drawer folding side table doesn't hook on the edge of the box like the one designed for the larger tool chests so I figured I could just drill new holes.

Used a couple left over bolts from my Toyota bolt bin. Lucked out the thread pitch was a match with the existing handle rivnuts

Added a Creality Falcon2 laser engraver to my tool assortment. Needed something to do until I am allowed to start wrenching again. Ordered a bunch of anodized tag blanks to make key tags. Until they get here, I'm just testing it out. Does good on reinforced plastic, anodized metal, powdercoated metal, and blued metal. It does a ghost image on case hardened metal, which looks pretty cool. Plastic dvd case does good at 70% power. I found the plastic of my phone case gets a good image, but takes a long time for the plastic to re-harden.

Edit: I am a computer moron. But, hooking it up to the computer and using LightBurn, it is really simple to use.

I can't get it to show up on camera. If you look at it straight on, you can't see it. If you turn it to catch the light right, it is a nice ghosted image. I might have been able to get it to show better with multiple passes, but I thought it was pretty cool when I was looking at it.
