2003 Toyota Tacoma trans range sensor

    I ordered a new one for my Toyota trying to remove the old one is being a challenge,, my question is my sensor mounts with the mounting hole to the rear of the vehicle with the electrical input at the top the new sensor I got will have to be mounted with the electrical input mounted down my question is will this work I ordered this off Amazon which I thought was the correct one / pn511-112 , looking on Amazon I do not find another one that looks like the one I have other than the one I ordered , can this be mounted with the electrical connector pointed in the down position and work as it is supposed to work
