Dont know if any the filters have been changed but first which filter is best for the engine on the 2.7
Not wanting to do a COI is a K&N going to help at all with anything or better with OEM or some other brand. Obviously want it to breathe as much as possible. May consider a COI if it is not really expensive or too involved to install question is will it give any hp at all. Im sure nothing you can actually feel but anything is better than nothing on the 2.7
Then apparently there is a cabin filter. Is this in the glove box on the SR. Any others i need to be aware of. Something about a Idle air filter?

Just get Napa or Wix filters. Cool air intakes are bs and cause problems.

Stick with the stock OEM paper filters. They are the best quality and "breathe" more than enough while effectively protecting your engine. Do not fall for the hype of K&N or the TRD version of that, which really is hype. The stock paper filter is all you need and provides the best engine protection.

Just say no to K&N, and the uncountable number of cotton gauze copycats.
Yes, cab filter is in the glove box.
