Dusty Taco

Hey everyone,

2 days ago I picked up my first Tacoma from a dealership in Vernon BC. I've been looking for a Quicksand Tacoma for months, so when I saw the posting I had to jump on it.

Immediately after signing the papers and getting the new plates on, I drove her back to Victoria. The ~500km journey took about 7 hours (driving and ferry) and it was the perfect intro to my new truck.

Dusty is a 2017 TRD Off Road with a 2" body lift, aftermarket rims on 265/70/R17, and some nice accessories like a tonneau cover, pedal commander and remote start. I'm going to remove the lift kit and go back to stock, and I'll replace the rims and rubber with 265/65/R16s on Nomad 501SB.

The plan is to slowly start converting Dusty into a camper (Super Pacific X1 ordered already) for very basic trails (I have 2 young kids I'd like to get into camping).

Stoked to join the Taco family.
