2024 Toyota Tacoma Door Rattle

I have a 2024 Toyota Tacoma with the JBL sound system and an after-market subwoofer. The door rattle, even without the after-market subwoofer on, is bad. I recently got the 2 front doors and the keypad switches dynamited, and the rattle from the keypad and other places, for the most part, are gone, but where it says, TRD on the 2 front doors rattles the most. When you put pressure on it, it goes away. How can I get the rattle to stop?

Do you have the door sill protector option?

 

following this - I assumed using sound deadening material on the doors and backside of the panels would have quieted the rattles. The OP is saying the trim pieces rattle by themselves then(?).

 

Had same issue on driver door. Dealer could not find it, so I took it apart and added deadening to door. Still rattled and took back to dealer. Dealer could not find it but could hear it intermittently. I took it apart again, piece by piece with test drives in between. Thought I had narrowed it to the door lock assembly. Took to dealer and they replaced it, rattled continued. Took back to dealer and they tightened everything to spec in the door and no rattle now. Next up is the rattle in the moonroof. Dropping the headliner when it cools off. Love the truck, but I don’t do rattles.

 

Exact same issue with driver door rattle and moonroof rattle (only when open). Like something is rattling against the sliding cover.
