Magnetic Gray Metallic vs. Underground

Just park a Bronze Oxide truck next to a MGM truck in the dark yoh won't be able to see a difference. BO is closer to MGM than UG, although UG and MGM are both gray, and BO is brown.

 

Are you doing your own washing and waxing of both?

I have a variety of tools for my vehicles, and did a lot of learning on a black BMW 2000 3 Series. The transformation of that jewel was impressive.

Underground is pasty imo. MGM was one of the best colors offered, shame it's no longer available.

 

I do, Colonite 476 then 845 on top after about a week, spring and fall. Had a black Tundra.

ha! sometimes i forget normal people actually park in their garage. mine is only used for parking when it snows, and that takes a LOT of preparation.

 

I don’t like metallic flake. I feel like in hot desert climate metallic flake paint does not last as long. I got Underground. It looks black a lot in lower light and is reflective shiny. Taking pics of it they always seem to not come out the same as what I see. Like the camera cant focus on it.

Nice 4th gen PDK taco. With my 2nd gen MGM I know lots of dudes who wanted color matched MGM grill (only on Sports back in the day) would get MGM grill from dealers and they still wouldn’t match. Getting color matched paint that is exact Toyota MGM has been impossible as well. I’m excited about flat underground color when I get my 4th gen in 2028!

 

Thanks! I really wanted Bronze Oxide, but Underground is pretty cool, sunrise and sunset it’s deep blue. Should be a dialed in platform by then!

 

This is just solidifying my opinion that I love Magnetic Gray Metallic.

Hoping Toyota sees fit to restore it to the color lineup for the 4G Taco.

 

MGM is way too popular, but there is no denying its a sharp color. Plus, every MGM truck looks a little different. Hopefully they bring it back.
