Hello, it's my first time, writing in this forum... and English is my second language.
    (I hope you understand it :D )

So, I replaced front and rear headlights abt a month ago and they have been working fine.
Suddenly, starting today, left turn signals started not working. When I use right turn signal, they flash correctly. When I use left turn signal, I hear clicking sound but both front and rear left turn signals don't blink and it also doesn't indicate on center console as well.

So I tried hazard light, and only right side turn signals flash.... I checked the Horn fuse, and it looks normal.
Does anyone have an idea? Oh in addition, i also had to replace Flasher relay during the headlight updates.

What type / brand of headlights and taillights did you install? Did you install completely new housings or just the bulbs? Did you check the fuses for the turn signals?

Yeah they were completely new housing. They are not major brand.
I checked fuses and they seems to be fine. What It's driving me crazy is... right turn signals are running fine, but both front and back left turn signals are not working. I also hear relay flasher clicking fine too. It just doesn't indicate left turn signal on center console and left turn signals don't flash.

Check connectors are tight for previous work that was done. Turn on your hazards. Do all lights flash? Suspect you have a turn signal bulb that is failed.

Yeah hazard light only flash on the right side....
If one turn signal failed on the left, can it shut down both front and rear turn signals?

Is the relay "flashing" at the same rate for both sides? When I have had a light out on mine the relay switches twice as fast for the bad side.

Try putting the left side signal bulb in the right side. Super fast/easy to do.

So when i turn hazard light, I hear relay clicking, and right turn signal flashing at the same time. But left turn signal is not flashing at all.
So it's acting same as turning right turn signal.. can this be bad relay issue?
Same thing when I turn left signal on. I hear relay clicking but left signals are not flashing outside and inside.

Cant really be anything but the flasher, a broken wire, or the short pin connector.

Possible that one of the left turn signal lamps went bad. Try replacing the turn signal lamps.

Thank you... I removed left rear light... after the removal, i realized that left turn signal started flashing, but it was like fainting not flashing.
Over time, it looked like flashing got bolder and now i finally have working left front turn signal. I will try to replace my rear light and see if that fixes the issues.

Hm.. I thought disconnecting left taillight would fix the issue but it didn't.
Left headlight turn signal started working then it eventually failed again.
Though, since it worked for a bit, I will give a shot on flasher and see if that fix the issue.
Though... left turn signal on center console shows, fainting not flashing....
So this was an improvement by disconnecting the taillight... at least it's not turn signal switch..

Not sure on our trucks off my skull, but on other vehicles I've had one signal bulb on the side disable both front/back on that side. So that might be your problem.

Shouldn't on a 2nd gen, it would only result in hyperflash and it wouldn't mess with the indicator. The flasher is nothing more than a couple relays and a logic chip/timer with a shunt resistor to detect low current due to a bad bulb.

The thread shows the insides of the flasher module, not much to it.

Given that the lights were recently installed, I'd be leaning towards poor quality aftermarket lights.

When the headlights were replaced did you get new signal bulbs? What wattage are they rated for - should be written somewhere on the bulb. At one point I upgraded stuff and used a higher wattage bulb. This absolutely upset the circuit, It's been awhile but I think it kept the signal from flashing. I switched to a lower wattage bulb and that resolved the issue.

I didn't actually get the signal bulbs as they came with the lights.
I switched the flasher relay, headlight bulb and reverse light bulb.
Headlights and reverse lights are working okay, it's just turn signal at this moment. I will check on flasher and see if I can replace rearlight, along with rewiring.

Just for kicks I'd pull one of the signal bulbs and see what the wattage is.

Special thanks to Dm93. I replaced the flasher relay and it fixed the issue.
I checked the diagram of relay that Dm93 shared, and assumed that there might be an issue on left turn signal resistor. My flasher relay was brand new, but it might be defective, or my bad wiring on taillight could cause some damage. After replacing the relay, I rewired them and made sure they are waterproofed. Thanks again everyone! And special thanks to Dm93 again!
