Has anyone recovered their Tacoma seat.was wondering how hard it actually is.the lower cushion has wear and I am worried it may rip ,the back rest is perfect.

Where were you able to find the matching fabric?

This is the video I used when I did mine. Do yourself and your back a favor - prop the seats on a work table. Makes it so much easier to do than working on the floor like the guy in the video.

The door side bolster on the seat of mine is worn looking but not torn. I bought some cheap seat covers from TJMax to protect what is left.

I also have a dodge cummins that this was a problem with... there is a company (several) that sell new bottom seat bolsters (foam) for it, I bet they do tacomas also. did the job on the dodge before the fabric ripped and turned out nice. On my tacoma the fabric had torn like one of the pictures above, but foam wasn't terrible. so I got some foam and shoved it into seat to make it a little fuller than it came, and got some clazzio seat covers on a black friday sale and did the whole truck and have never looked back... looks like I have factory leather.

I found some on eBay for a resonable price just going to knock out some other projects first.

I'm looking for the same thing. My driver's seat is pretty bad. Have a link?

CoverKing Neoprene seat covers. Ordered direct from CoverKing via Costco at considerably lower cost.

I did unbolt the seats so I could see what I was doing with the bottom anchors, but did not unplug any wiring. Did it all right where you see it sitting.

    Work very well.

Its been a few years. eBay link is expired. Installation was a little challenging the front corner were the hardest to attach. New cover wasn’t the same as stock. But it matches almost exactly.

I spent the money on OEM foam for both front seats and was lucky enough to find a local automotive seat repair technician who worked mostly for dealers. He was mobile so he came to my work in the parking garage and replaced all my foam on the seats, recovered them with the original factory fabric, repaired the torn bolster on the driver side with some gray fabric didn’t care how good since I had new neoprene seat covers he installed as well. He also placed the aftermarket seat heater pads for me since the seats were all apart.
