    truck got rear ended while parked. How bad does this look? Getting towed to a body shop tmrw, but wonder if i should take to a place that specializes in truck frames to make sure frame is good.

    How about a used frame from the Rancho Cordova yards? Swap everything over, replace needed parts.

    Bummer that you have to go through this accident. :facepalm:

    I do body work a lot... and it looks fixable to me. atleast from the pics. Did the frame get bent??? Or is it just the leaf spring that broke free and pushed the axle out of place?

    Even if that part of the rear frame is bent, that's an easy fix. To me it looks like the leaf spring is just twisted and shifted.
    Take the money, do the simple fix, and thank the idiot that hit you.

    I'd have a body shop check the frame. If it's not too twisted take the money and fix it up. New bed, leaf springs axle driveshaft brakeline etc you'll be good to go.
