Took off nerf bars. Love the look without any rails/boards

 

The only thing good about the nerf bars foot steps is, they make 5' gf's really happy.

 

I rolled over this mileage tonight.

 

Funny enough my wife is barely 5’3 and she says they get in the way. They are too high to really be any help.

OK thanks, I have a RWD with the Firestone Destinations LE3s and love them, I am guessing that the 4x4s are mainly Goodyear Wrangler ATs for the 16" tires then?? Or just part of the trim level for the 4x4s?

 

Yep. 10k oil change when they did it under warranty, 5k when they want me to pay for it.
Just changed out my rear diff fluid yesterday because they wouldn’t do it under warranty. My diff was just replaced at 18k miles because of a defect. Wanted that oil changed at the 500 mile mark and I’m glad I did it. At that mileage it came out grey and lots of metal on the magnet.

I did the same, but after the last car wash ripped off my mirror I did hand washing from then on. This time I tried a touch less wash near me. Not really impressed. I will stick with doing it myself. I feel better afterward. Your truck looks good.

 

I get my oil and filter from Amsoil and every 10k I take it to Wallyworld where the same mechanic, who has the same year Taco, does my oil and filter change. We usually compare notes on recent mods, etc. I feel pretty confident when I leave.

 

Thanks! I dont use drive thru washes, the brushed ones scratch you up and the touchless use extremely harsh chemicals (super alkaline soaps) that arent really good for the paint or other exterior bits.

I try to wash every 2 weeks, first pre wash/dwell/rinse then a normal wash. it's like cleaning your house...wait 6 months and that is one tough task!

 

Just in case you didn't already know, the cheapest way I've found to get Mobil 1 is a 12qt bag in a box from Walmart. I do my own for the same reasons as you.

 

My 5' tall wife said the same thing. Then I dud a 2" lift and 1" taller tires, then she asked why the steps aren't back on.

 

Im also with RWD, TRD OR. i think it is OEM solution for all trim levels, the only difference is size - for TRD Sport Toyota used R17.
