    Hi,

I officially did it! I been reading TW threads for years now and finally decided to create an account.

I originally owned a 2012 TRD Sport 4x2, but unfortunately had to retired it last summer. I now drive a 2023 TRD Sport 4x4. I love it so much and baby it a lot, lol. Especially since it’s the last V6.

    Looking forward reading/discussing with y’all. ☺️

    Welcome to the Jungle, J.

Why was the 2012 4x2 retired? [Hang on I need to grab my box of tissues. :(] I had a 2nd gen 2006 4x2 access cab and I loved it, but now I really, really, really like my 2020 DCLB.

    Thanks for the kind welcomes!

So I just realized I need to work on my pictures skill. Last time I drove into the mountains the sun was setting already. After we had raining days.

I like to share my old baby and my new baby pictures. Also pic of the big brother to my Tacoma. As of now I am keeping it some-what stocked, because we are working on our 2021 Tundra build.

For my 23 Taco I started with a small lift, 3in front/2in back. (I told the dealership truck ain’t a truck if I am not jumping out of it, lol) I purchased weatherTech custom floor mats and truck bed mat. I invested in the DiamondBack Switchback tonneau cover.

I got a lot of wishes on my Christmas list, so we will see.

I really enjoy seeing the pictures posted in TW.

    So…

Why I had to retired my gen 2 …. This was a hard lesson I had to learned.

My Toyota mechanic of 15years decided to retired. I then trusted a friend’s recommendation on this other mechanic, which turn out to be a nightmare.

This new mechanic busted my head gasket and my engine started leaking oil. I didn’t have enough knowledge or money to go down that rabbit hole. So I had to cut my losses.

Welcome :hattip:I've too have learned some lessons from word of mouth "recommendations" the hard way :annoyed:

I'm fortunate to have 2 master mechanics that I like and trust to do work on my truck.
