Rust coming from under paint code 040

    Any one have this problem on white 3rd gen paint code 040. I washed the truck and notice theres small circles expanding everywhere on hood and rusting from underneath the paint. No they’re not rock chips. Just hit 8,000 miles on it. I notice this when I did the first wash last year when I saw the passenger door at the bottom where the bedliner is, didn’t think much of it at time till now

    Odds are high it’s “rail dust”. There are plenty of articles on the subject.
