I have a ridiculous question. What are you all doing for license plate brackets? The ARB bumper on the trialhunter only has 2 holes at the top and I'm having an incredibly difficult time finding a plate bracket that fits. Right now the plate is just being held on by two screws but it looks bad like that. I bought this thing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXRQ8SN2 but it doesnt fit and if i use screws to hold it up a little higher so the plate and bracket fit, when the tailgate comes down it comes into contact with the plate itself. It would definitely scratch or even dent the tailgate if i left it like that.

This is such a stupid question i cant even.

I have a TRD Pro. I just spun 2000k miles. Truck runs smooth no problems so far. I have towed a boat, lawn mowers, hauled furniture etc... One off-road trip to the beach. Nothing crazy, but the vehicle is solid. i love my new taco.

@Cows Have Claws Look at the silicone plate frames on Amazon. I just installed a black one. Fits great.

Is rigid lights only comes with TRD Pro and Trailhunter or some TRD trims have them too? Does anyone know part number, trying to find specifications on those fog lights and led bar (current draw, etc).

Took the Trailhunter out checking my deer Stands. Just over 1000 miles on it. Extremely happy with its off-road manners. Solid and the engine torque is perfect either in 4Hi or 4Low. Climbed about 1000 feet over a 1.5-mile dirt road. Didn't push it even though I wanted to :). It was planted and felt just like driving my 17 4Runner TRD Pro with about twice the power. Hasn't rained here for over 30+ days so now have to clean up all the dust.

Have any of you hybrid owners had any luck finding all weather floor mats that fit the rear compartment?Seems no one is making a set at this time for the hybrid and want to replace the factory rubber floor mats as they just don’t offer enough coverage for NE Ohio winters.
Every set I have found state not for hybrid and rear mat only fits with under seat storage.Would think there would be at least one or two aftermarket options by now

How are those? They're a bit less than half what the Weathertec's I was looking at cost with them being on sale and there being a discount code.

Actually, I think I'm just going to find out. They're $123 for a full set, shipped...

Mats from them for other, similar vehicles seem to review well. Honestly, the only complaints I really found besides something about a grommet that looks really easy to solve, were that people are miffed that they find out that the Lasfit people measure their competitor's products for comparison purposes. They seem to think this is "copying other people's products." All I could think of is "wait until they hear about basically every company ever, who buys their competitors' products to reverse engineer them." If you don't like that, you can't really buy anything.

I ordered a set. I'll try to remember to report back how they are when I get them.

Just ordered a set too. Have the Lasfit bed mat and it fits great and seems like good material so hoping the same for the floor mats.Say’s the floor mats are a preorder but looks like they ship between 11/25 to 11/29!

Lasfit is the only company to list a Hybrid compatible set right now. You can order them pre-order for shipping around USA Thanksgiving time frame. I put my order in the first week they posted about it and was given an estimated ship date of the 17-Nov I believe (so I guess only 1-2ish weeks off now).

Currently I have a set of TripleALiners in place b/c I never wait. The rear just "rides high" at the hump, but covers for passive protection well enough. If you had 1-2 regular rear passengers, you'd likely not even really process it. But it is clear it's not a perfect fit. The fronts fit perfectly, no issues.

Ok hybrid owners, I think it's been confirmed in other threads but can anyone corroborate that the ICE will shut off in certain circumstances, such as a red light or light throttle at low speeds? My TRD off-road is supposedly arriving next Tuesday and one of the first things I'd like to see is a tune that programs that out if possible. We didn't get the auto start stop defeat button unfortunately.

It does shut off at a stop when the engine is at temp and the HVAC heat is not in demand. Read the owners manual and is explains the operation. I do not have mine either yet, but read through the manual online. However, this is a hybrid and when you press the accelerator from a stop the electric motor will get you moving and then start the engine. Should be far less noticeable than a gas engine.

there is no autostop off button. the only way to get the engine to come back on when at stop light and its off is to 2 foot it. press brake pedal hard and give gas till engine starts back up. its not uncommon for engine to shut off way before stop light when coasting down. or if on slight downhill road or with tail wind the engine will shut off also. ive been able to coast down the hill by my house and drive through rest of niebhor hood in electric only for almost 2 miles a couple times!
