I've been running Yokohama Geolandar G015 on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma for the last 4 years, I've gotten about 50K miles out of them. Wondering if I should make a switch and considering Falken Wildpeak AT4W- cost is just a little more but tread life is rated at 10K more. I've seen negative reviews regarding performance, noise, balance issues later in tire life- after 30K miles. Does anyone have any feedback with the AT4W after some wear? I need a unicorn- great on the highway, relatively quiet, long tread life, can get me out of a 3 foot snowbank and won't break the bank. The Geolandars have been awesome but just wondering if there is something better out there...

Yep, Where I live, the County Search & Rescue, and Sheriff's trucks all have the Duratracs. That's a pretty good endorsement if you ask me. They have to be able to get to the remote, mountainous, snowy parts of the area without getting stuck. Duratracs seem to have the most snow siping of any AT tire out there.

I put some Nokian tires on my daughter's Corolla and they perform really well in the snow (within the limits of a Corolla.)

I rock BFG KO2's right now. I need the snow performance. We get 106" of snow per year (a lot less than you) and they are a must around here. When we get snow..it can be a lot.

Probably wild peaks out of that list but I’ve read the Mickies are 3peak and pretty awesome

BFG also changed the compound to help with wet weather performance. Will that hurt the life span? We will have to wait and see.
