What sensors are these on 3.4 manual transmission

    3" lift, re gear, steel bumper, overland rig
    Currently in the process of replacing my clutch I noticed that the wire on one of these sensors is beginning to tear out and I should probably replace the sensor while it's easy to access but I cannot figure out what sensor it is.

    They are "transfer case position" switches. They are simple open/closed switches that let other systems know what "position" the case is in, 4wd/2wd, high/lo range etc.

    That is your transfer case, the sensor on the left is the 4wd position sensor and the one on the right is the 4-low sensor for ABS or e-locker engagement (if you have those). Pretty easy to replace even when the trans/transfer case are in the vehicle if needed.
