Upgraded from the JBL dash speakers to the Audison AP2 MV. After seeking advice from multiple installers, I decided to change to regain some upper mid-range realism and imaging. Significantly better sound, clarity, transparency, and imaging. But also significantly more expensive!

Goin to chime in here. If you want an upgrade and feel the JBL lacking just do the dash speakers. Might be enough for you. If you are crazy sum the rear speakers and sub. Amplify the rear speakers and subwoofer. Buy the kicker shallow mount 8 and modify the box.
