Sup guys! Looking into buying a 1st gen Tacoma. Cant seem to find any good condition 4x4 1st gen’s.

How does the prerunner v6 hold up off-roading? Is it safe to say I can take it over landing? Thanks in advance!

You won't be crawling on rocks in Moab. I have a prerunner 4cyl and I have been able to go 95% of the places the 4x4 guys go. You learn how to find better lines and use momentum to get through. A good set of tires and 100lbs of rocks over the rear axle when going offroad you'll be fine. I do mainly dirt/mud and its been fine.
