Anyone know what the problem is?

I have had the TRD Cold Air Intake for several years now, as of lately I have had temps ranging from 111 F to 127 F moving and at idle. The outside temp is in the high 60s. I have ruled out that the intake system is the problem, I cleaned and "recharged" the filter. The system is supposed to be pulling air in from the wheel well, and it is still very hot. On the highway on the other hand at speeds of about 80mph, the temp is about 80 F, which is still 15 F over outside temp. I don't know if its heat soak from the engine or if I need to replace something else. I know the temps from the infotainment system I have installed, it has several gauges that are all accurate pulled from my OBDII port. My car specs are in the description of my profile.

    Thanks!

It's heat soak. Works as designed.

I checked my intake temp when driving across Death Valley in Aug this summer. It was so frigging hot I wanted to see what the motor was getting. Ambient was 119F. Intake temp was 129F. I was moving when I checked, std intake
