I received my 1/18 Holy Grail today. This is the one I've been searching for daily for a year and the only one I'd spend too much for. AUTOart #72760, the Signature Muddy 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT Coupe - Mad Max 2 / The Road Warrior Interceptor. This is #215/1,000 made.



I was able to retrofit it with the Dinki Di dog food I had in my spare parts collection.

I also received a Dealer Edition 1st generation Mazda CX-5. I totaled ours on the way to it's first oil change when someone hit me driving out between two cars in traffic. I went up on two wheels and landed just in time to smash into a telephone pole. I'm still grumpy, my wife loved it.

 

One front wheel was jamed into the fender so the Jaguar lent itself to a wheel swap, also deleted the number 12.

 

I've got individual pictures, but that would really clutter things up. I'll make a google photos album with all of those and link it here.

All the boxes have cars in them.

 

We collect HWs... we're ok with clutter!

We love clutter. Can’t speak for everyone in here but I would rather see a few pics spread out over a few days weeks or months rather than all at once. Especially the old stuff which you have a lot of.

Busy day yesterday prepping these cars for modifications and doing a photo shoot on 30 new additions for Taco World. There are 2 65 Comets in these pictures. Both receiving chrome bumpers and related trim as well as wheel swaps. The gold wheels are off a Studebaker Gasser pickup which will soon being wearing something else. The other Comet just received champagne flip flop paint with a aqua base. It turns colors when light hits it. The Blue 57 Fairlane is that newly released Matcbbox Fairlane with a Hot Wheels Nova SW Gasser suspension underneath it. Very little modification needed. Had to cut front bumper and grill to fit and rear bumper was deleted. I made a rear push bar bumper out of a ink pen tube for that. The 57 BelAir was destined for the yard sale box with its black roof but that came off easily along with the chrome trim which I can replace. The Gasser 5 spoke wheels behind it will be installed. I found paper towel cardboard tubes work great with most 1/64 cars for painting them and Ace Hardware has a very nice store brand chrome spray paint in rattle cans. Very close. When doing things like painting headlights and turn signals I will use a tooth pick or head of a small nail to dab the paint on.

 

It's older.. earlier this year maybe? And I too feel like you have it.
