So, I woke up to this at 800-miles… I’m guessing they can just change the "tranny" [AKA Transmission] because of TSB and fix the leak, too.

    kinda like a “Two-Fer”

It's just marking it's territory. Kinda like a cat spraying.

My 2006 F150 had 245K miles when I ‘upgraded’ to this TH. It never leaked a drop of fluid in those 18-yrs!!

All leaks eventually stop. They're self healing.

My dad always told me "as long as it's leaking, it has some in it" :anonymous:

That's pretty antidotal, my Tacoma has 150K trouble free miles. It's good thing you didn't replace it with a ford. My buddy;s 35Kmi pristine, babied '19 F150 platinum and his BIL's '19 F150 platinum (70K) have both gotten cam phasers repaired, the BIL's truck already got a tranny (both trucks: zero towing and nothing heavy in the beds) and my buddies 35Kmi tranny is acting up and will likely need a new one. Ironically both had ford's extended warranty and the BIL paid handsomely despite the warranty, ford claimed the phasers and the tranny are a wear items at 70K and discounted the work some, ford paid to fix the 35Kmi truck. Again all antidotal.

Ahh, but those fords weren’t leaking
OP didn’t say her F1fitty wasn’t on its second engine and 4 transmission, just that it never leaked
    Lol

I'm guessing you mean anecdotal...antidotal would only apply if the OP drank the dripping transmission fluid.

Antidotal means something that cures a poison or solves a problem, while anecdotal means something based on a personal account or hearsay

Got back under it today and made some observations [with "Tranny" in top position - haha not really]:
    1. Appears the leak source is at the back of the torque conv bell housing (circled in red)
    2. Then it works its way forward [gravity] as shown in the picture with blue arrows
    3. I circled the fluid pooling on the bolts

Fom your pics, looks like seals, like they didn't torque the bolts correctly. If you're under the TSB, I'd contact Toyota and insist on a new trans, since they're gonna have to replace the seals on this one anyway.
