After 5 months I finally got mine and took my time to assemble and install. Has anyone put insulation in theirs yet? I am looking at form board from Lowe’s because they have gray color board. Being in Florida I’ll need something and I will have my Ecoflow batteries in there so need to insulate.
Also was thinking about adding https://www.amazon.com/Maxx-Air-00-...1587516&sprefix=max+fans,aps,181&sr=8-54&th=1

That will be a good idea. Can you post a DIY after completing yours?

Dang, do all you guys have a 6 ft bed? I really want one but I messaged the seller linked in this thread and they said it's for a 6 foot bed, but "it may be suitable for a 5 foot bed as well"

I have a F250...6'9" bed. I linked the mfr above on this page. They seems to be legit. I've given them all my measurements and they said 25 days, so hopefully through production by Dec. 15th.

Fingers crossed! I've asked a lot of questions, so hopefully it turns out well! Hoping I get it by mid-January.

5ft bed here. I sent them numerous photos with measurements and they did send me back rendered drawings with dimensions.

I got mine in a 5 ft. SO far it's great but cant find any hardware to fit the channels to put a roof rack on it. I am still searching.
    PS.
If you plan on putting in mollie panels in the bed , do it before you put the cap on. Dont do what I did.

Recently sold my Taco sadly, but have a fresh start with this 2018 beauty! Just bought one of these caps brand new from someone off marketplace. The fitment to the 5.5bed Tundra is near perfect. The only issue I had was with the clamps not lining up right with the bed rails. Went to my local topper store and bought some new ones for $35 and the work perfectly. I don’t anticipate much water or dust to gap through the seams. The cap came with a gasket seal underneath, but I went to Home Depot and bought extra Truck Cap Sealer just as extra precaution for $6. Only reason you see some water residue on the decked system is because it was installed in the rain. So far no complaints and this thing seems solid!

ALSO.. if anyone can make any recommendations on a good cross bar solution that would be greatly appreciated. This track system is so odd lol

I asked "can you give me the length of the side doors. Can you get measurements on those for me? I want to know length x height of the side doors."

This photo is what I got. Apparently my shell is going to turn my truck into a dinosaur. My nervousness went from a 1 to a 3. lol

    Very random,

Could anyone with a 6' bed who purchased one of the toppers send me the dimensions or video (if they requested that) of your measurements that you sent to the supplier? I ordered one but then they asked for a video of the dimensions..I won't be able to measure my bed for another couple weeks and I want to get one of these on order..

    Thanks.

finally got one max fan plus installed on the camper top. I have it hooked to an EcoFlow River it’s at 65% battery time and I’ll run that fan for 24 hours at 65%. I also gonna install some more lights and I also have extensions so I can plug into the back of the camper if I need 120 votes or USB, etc., etc.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but for those who have this, is there a way to release the tension latches from the inside? In other words, are you able to secure yourself inside for camping and still open them to get out?

Not with the locks that come with it but with the sliding windows I guess you could reach out to unlock.
