low beam issue

    If I’m remembering correctly, the relays are side specific, right? The Morimoto harness has 2 relays. Both failing at the same time, that same way is unlikely, in my opinion. A relay failing in 6 months can happen, electronics fail, usually when they’re really new or really old. Still thinking the controller is faulty.

    oh no i have 1 moto controller for the whole unit as they are bixenon retrofits not factory lights with an hid kit.
    Bought the relay from TRS on Amazon Dec 2023.. Do you think the retrofit source will honor a warranty if i figure out how to determine there’s a fault??

    It’s worth giving them a call, they helped me sort my set out. They may also have some diagnostic tricks to help you as well.

    So a Tuesday update.
    0 issues on sunday after multiple on and off cycles and 0 issues on Monday I tried the lights multiple times at night as well.

    So weird!

    After no issues for several months…. my issue is back intermediately no driver low beam/high but after a few power cycles low beam turns on and works as should.

    Think i am going to get a set of denso slim ballasts to start as my bulbs (cbi osram) are only about 5 years old
