ABS LIGHT ON CODE C0346

I have a 2007 4x4 V6 Tacoma with the ABS light and E brake light coming on at random times. I took it to my mechanic and they pulled a ABS code C0346 (Replace ABS actuator) The ABS part number for my truck is 44050-04070 and the part has been discontinued by Toyota and I cant find any used parts in my area or online. Has anyone else had this issue and what has solved it?

 

Doesn't seem to be a valid code for a 2007 model.
At least not in my service data
Goes from 0279 to 1235 ??????

 

You sure on that code number? It's not in the list of possible codes for an 07.

 

This was the ticket I got from today.

 

And this was from a few weeks ago when I got my state inspection and this is when we found the problem. Two different codes it looks like.

Have you checked Hollander Parts and car-part.com?

 

I just checked and I’m seeing a lot of options to choose from fortunately from both websites. From my understanding it has to be that exact 44050-04070 part number had depending on the year and style of the truck that can change. Ill double check the fuses and make sure they’re arent any shorts anywhere in the wires going to the ABS. I might get a double opinion from a Toyota dealership and see what their scan tool brings up. I’ll post back when I get Toyota's input.

 

Here is a picture of the ABS module btw. My truck is also a double cab standard bed TRD sport with a model number of GRN250L-PRADKA. Im sure the part numbers are different from each varying model.

If the code is indeed C0246 service info basically says clear the codes and if the code returns replace the ABS unit.

I found several on Hollander parts.
The ones I found listed under 4x4 appear to be the correct number.
