Im seeing them priced around $600 but regardless its still alot of money for what it is. Guess this is why the 4th Gens are overpriced. How much is Toyota charging for thier shitty floor mats? $1,000?

    Lmao

The all weather mats run $199.99/set on the '24 Tacoma (includes fr and rr passenger) can do standard, TRD pro or Trailhunter versions, all same cost.

I trimmed it with a jigsaw, then cleaned up the rough edges with a file.

Depends on your dealership. Unfortunately, I know ours would probably be a no-go since it's a "used" part and it was part of the vehicle sale. Could ask your sales-person though.

I really like the idea to trimming the air dam and reinstalling... It retains the finished look, especially covering the ends of the felt well liners.

Question... When you trimmed the air dam did you cut it in pieces... or can it be trimmed in one piece from one end to the other?

Yes, I definitely wanted to cover the ends of the felt liners. If you do trim it, it will eventually become 3 pieces because of the 2 big air intakes...

I borrowed (stole) that pic from another Tacoma site, so thanks to the owner of the pic! :)

    Brilliant idea, excellent work/lines.

I am looking to do this to my sons new Tacoma. I have it all marked up and ready to go for the center piece but I would really like to know how you chose/transferred the lines to the wheel well pieces, yours look perfect/OEM. And while I am at it, is there a jig saw blade that works best on this type of plastic?

Next up is waiting for the RCI crossmember to show up. I picked up the two composite/plastic 'skid plates' the other day on FB Marketplace. I am thinking one NH winter will wreak havoc on the stock one...

    Thanks!

I basically free-handed it, but I did put down some 1" painters' tape as a guide. I just used the generic blade that was on the saw. The plastic is very easy to cut. Just be careful and watch your fingers!!

In another post about removing the dam, someone posted that they just tucked the felt liner UNDER the bumper corners before reinstalling the screws. That makes a lot of sense and might be a better option.
