    What's up everyone,
So I have always wanted to get a Tacoma but I just was never really in a good position to get one. I was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT, RWD and it was in great shape. I got it at 90K and was at around 140K miles when recently someone slammed into me on the highway and TOOK OFF.

Nice hit and run during stop and go traffic. I don't think the guy even slowed down before he smashed into me.

Anyways, long story short is my truck was totaled and I do not want to settle for less this time around. The F150 was supposed to be "temporary" but quickly became permanent. Now I am in the market and of course these trucks are priced preeetty high :). I know they're supposed to be extremely reliable and I am handy enough to do work on my truck, do maintenance, ect.

I have been searching around and found a 2015 TRD Off Road - 1 Owner, with 130k miles at a dealer, asking price is $22,800.

I plan on using $10,000 as a down payment.

    What are your guys thoughts?
Any tips on looking for my first Tacoma?

Welcome and good luck with your search! You may get some more specific details on what to look for in a used 2015 by posting in the 2nd gen section.

$22,000 for 130k mile 15 year old vehicle? No. That is not a wise use of your money. Is this is a private sale or a dealer?

Dang, in my area that's one of the "better" deals I am seeing. This is from a dealer.
