    Hey all!

There’s a lot of discourse on the best fluid for our manual transmissions. I recently had to do mine- and being that I haven’t been a fan of Redline in the past, I wanted to find another (and cheaper) option.
I saw this fluid on Amazon and took a gamble on it. It is one of the few *true* GL-4 fluids I was able to find (aside from Redline).
So far, it’s great! Shifting is nice and smooth. Slightly notchy on a cold start, but no worse than any fluid I’ve ever run in any car. It eases up no more than 10 minutes into the drive. No noise to be heard, no chattering/whining or anything like that. Both my transmission and transfer case seem well lubricated.

At $44/gallon, IMO a way better option than Redline. I’ll post an update to this when I change the fluid (which may be a couple years with how much I drive), but so far it has my seal of approval. Just thought I’d put this out there for others looking for more affordable, pure GL-4 options.
