Good morning all, been using the form in secret many times now and figured it was worth posting some of the progress on my new ride. I purchased the truck early September this year to keep from putting miles on my Seirra and looking ahead to give to my son when he can drive... in 4 years.
The truck is an amazing base, 2011, 176k miles, 6 speed, 4wd, great interior and exterior. I can tell there was some repainting on the driver front fender and passenger bedside.

It wasn't long before I was making adjustments. First was that utility she'll and headlights. Removed the shell and found some factory headlights which came with taillights on Offer Up. My coworker sprayed them with clear and put a little of the silver mika to give them a sparkle.
IMG_20241110_075114.jpgBefore those where done I got some Amazon fog lights and my son and I tore into the front end to install everything. When the grill was off I also put some LED rock lights in to be cool.

Was going a little crazy with the silence exhaust and used a JMD resonator they had laying around at my work. Definitely got the job done but I will be improving on the sound little later. I know I'm beating a dead horse with trying to make that V6 sound good but I have a couple ideas I still want to try.

The steering wheel was a little crooked when I got it but drove straight and the tires looked good but I got it to an alignment shop to find out the lower bushings were pretty worn. We replaced those and bought a 1½" coil spacer lift since it was apparently and needing to be aligned. With that massive lift I also got some Ebay steps. No pics of that so here's a cat.

Lastly (for now) was a little radio upgrade. The factory deck was being weird so a put in a double din but that decreased the sound quality... So I had some Rockford stuff I was going to use in my old 2004 single cab and would only need to buy minimal parts for. We tore the interior apart for the install. Used prime series speakers front and rear.

Using the Rockford mini amps under the driver seat. I donwish i got a pretty pic before I was done.

Made a quick box for the sallow mount P3 w/1.25 cf³ of airspace. The seat is basically useless as you can see but if i need to move the family i use the Seirra, so i am ok with it amd i can still get the seat farther back than what i need to drice comfortable.. Put in a couple LEDs in the port. Still want to make a little grill for the port.

Oh, my year didn't have rear door speakers so another co worker of mine made me a little 3D printed template and i just simply drilled some hole in the door panel.

Need to better tune the stereo still but been pretty happy with everything so far. Next is trying a different exhaust idea. Hopefully getting a set of UDR headers. Eibach coils and shocks. But who knows.

Got a chance to tune in the exhaust a little better to my liking.

I kept the JMD 2½" resonator. I put a V-band before just to make a quick change if I feel like it. Right after the resonator a bumped up to 3" and put another V-band. Ans, as you can see i came over the axle and dumped with a 4½" tip.
The sound inside the cab went from a Honda/Subaru sound more towards Subaru at this point. It not very loud and am happy with the end product at this point.
After driving my Seirra it's just so quiet and need to accept it. Lol
