no same misfire I ordered a new fuel injector cleaned maf sensor I'm hoping it's an injector did leak down test everything normal so that's what led me to fuel injector (I replaced b4 with a used one) also gonna order a new iac valve and possibly a new maf sensor but gonna try brand new injector first then go from there

There should be constant power to one side of the injector, the PCM controls the ground to make it fire.

Easiest way to tell if #1 injector is opening is to unplug the injector at idle. If idle drops, then the injector is fine.

Had same exact issue on mine, after replacing s/c with stock intake, wires, plugs and coils.

I’d consider cleaning the MAF first. Use Turner contact cleaner (safe for plastics and leaves no residue). Spray down the wire element in the MAF (mine was covered with a lot of grunge) and then reinstall.

Just to add to this I have a 2001 toyota prerunner 3.4 the truck was running and idleling rought. I had the P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire only at first! after doing all the usual clean out the maf clean the iac valve and compression test. I figure it was the inyectors. I fcked up and ordered the 30 dollar chinese Amazon inyectors. figuring how hard can it be to make inyectors boy was I wrong. I got more codes P0172 too rich bank1. P0300 Multiple Cylinder misfires.

I spoke with my sensai about this and he recomended these denso inyectors below.
These were not really made for the 1st gens
however they're the exact same size and are plug and play.

I ordered a set of these inyectors and all the codes went away.
and the taco purs like a kitten now!
    Hope it helps?

morning team! I almost burned my truck down on my way to work.
the middle inyector under the intake started leaking.
I drove all the way to work.
The smell of gas was really strong popper the hood and the top of the intake was flooded!!!
    Thank god we made it!
Time to take it apart and put her back together!

Lesson learned if you smell gas! STOP.
    Don't test your luck.
You might not be as lucky.
