Below are some pics from December 2022 when I was heading down to Prescott AZ for a roof replacement on the 15TB (had an oops moment a few weeks prior).

First time staying in a paid/services available spot. Highly recommend Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab UT. Had the place to myself.

Little of this, little of that.
Hey there, I just stumbled across this thread. I hope you're doing okay, looks like you posted not that long ago so hopefully you are. Those are some beautiful pictures! You are definitely still able to post here even though you drive a Tundra now.

I was brought to this thread because there was a mention of upgrading to lithium batteries which I'm doing on my G16BH this weekend. I'm looking for people who have relocated the batteries to the inside of the camper though for thermal and theft benefits but I haven't had much luck finding anyone.

Anyways, I'll drop a picture of my camper here, I don't have any of my Tacoma pulling it though.

Sorry, no help from me. Due to increasing prices and just poor RV build quality across the spectrum pushed me in another direction. I ordered a Radica Overlander style type bare bones topper/camper to fit on the bed of my Taco. Pretty heavy duty, well engineered and high quality control. Build completion date is in Aug. We have a started a thread for those who own Radical Campers here - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/let’s-see-your-radica-moonlander-setup.800192/#post-29941793

Moving those batteries inside and insulating them will help a lot towards achieving better cold and hot weather performance. Good luck to you.

Relocating can be relatively easy if you are not moving the battery disconnect or other items, but you need to be sure to be running adequate gauge wires. I have considered moving them on my 15TB, but so far 3 seasons of LiFeP04 use with them mounted on the tongue has worked fine for us....but I will probably move them inside and rewire the rig as needed to be able to run the A/C or microwave off of the current ~440AH of battery we have. I have 2x206AH SOKs, but late this last season I started using a LiTime 230AH battery and might add another. I have several solar/LiFeP04 projects so I can always find a use for the 6 that I have now. I have 2 panels on the roof and we boondock 99.9% of the time at high elevations, we rarely need A/C/etc. I always have a generator available so in a pinch we have power, but I have not needed a generator or hookup on 3-10 day trips and never had power issues...black tank capacity is always the issue :)
