2020 tacoma 4 cylinder 2.7 rattles at start

Anybody had experience with their 2.7 2020 Tacoma rattles for few seconds in cold weather specifically in am and disappear, really loud, no engine check light

 

How many miles?
I have a few non Toyota vehicles with higher mileage that will rattle until Oil Pressure builds up. I use an Oil Stabilizer, like Lucas, in them so after lubricant leak down after the vehicle sets for an extended period, like overnight, the engine has a coating of lubricant when first started.
I know that these modern engines use a low viscosity oil. I am not familiar with your particular engine, maybe someone else will chime in.
Like I said, I use Lucas, a bottle every oil change. One of the vehicles is a 94 Ranger with 240,000 on a 4 cylinder. It may use a 1/2 to 1 quart in 5,000 miles, doesn't smoke and gets around 22mpg.

Many quick lube places use basic grade (aka: cheap) oil filters.
Try changing the oil filter, OEM Toyota, WIX brand or NAPA are good quality.

 

It's normal. Even more and longer when below zero.
