My drivers side door has some play in it. I see they make after market kits to replace pins and bushings. Is this a good route to go or should I just replace the hinges either way OEM from the dealer?
    Thanks

I’d have to go look at mine.
But that pin doesn’t look to intended to be removed?
So the bushing and pin route might not be “too easy”.

Hard to believe a 2012 door hinge would be worn enough to have slop in it.

    Post a video.

If you use the door to pull yourself out of the truck. It can happen fast. I hate when people do that in my truck.

I have replace the bushing in a few cars.
    It’s never a fun job.

Older 1970 and 80’s Chevrolet were notorious for door sag.
