Honestly he is a freaking maniac. You can put that dude in time out as he will TACKLE one of our other cats, and he gives 0 Fs.

Stupid cat tricks!
What tricks (if any) have you taught your cats? I've recently taught our younger cat to shake with his paw, it took some treats to accomplish this and his reward expectations now are very high after performing, he gets irritated if I stiff him.

 

Buddy, just wanting to be left alone.

 

I taught Sampson to do this. All I had to was sit down.

 

I feel like this dude (especially his tail) grows visibly bigger each day........



7 years on top, just over 16 weeks at the bottom

 

Damn that is quite the tail!!! Is that normal for the breed or is he an exception. I know their bodies grow to be quite large.

 

Normal for Maine Coons for sure. I'm in contact with the breeder who is exceptionally knowledgeable about the breed and he said they usually go through 3 or 4 big growth spurts in their first year, and can keep growing for 3-5 years.

He quite literally eats as much as the other two combined, and his paws are already substantially larger than even any adult cat I've ever owned.

He's going to be a big dude for sure. 20 - 30 lbs.

I mean look at the size of this dudes paws at +16 weeks! I'm not a huge guy at 6' 215, but his paws look huge in my hands, especially compared to our other two.

 

I'm sure everyone is getting sick of seeing him, but he's growing SO fast I can't keep up with pics as he changes seemingly every day.

When he got here last month, he weighed right at 5lbs, and could curl up in the cat condo NP........
Now he weighs +8lbs and can barely fit on the cat condo with most appendages hanging off.

 

Not tired of seeing him grow, very cool to watch.

Imagine how happy he'd be if that heating pad was actually on (low if course).

 

Our latest fosters, about 7 weeks old. They will be with us at a couple more weeks.

 

31 deg and snowing out. These 3 are struggling to survive. At least that’s what they’re telling me.

 

When it gets cold here, my cat goes out and immediately comes back in, then yowls at me. I feel like he is demanding that I fix the cold weather! LOL
